  • This class will introduce you to the concepts of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI). First, with the help of a brainstorming session where you will collect references, develop mood boards, and create personas.

    Second, you’ll learn about UX by examining wireframes and how to build them.

    Third, we will discuss the differences between UX and UI.

  • In this class, you'll cover branding, logos, typography, and fonts. Plus, you'll learn to craft custom icons with Adobe Illustrator and get comfortable with the pen tool.

  • In this class, you'll grasp the disparities between User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI). Alongside, you'll delve into the UX process, covering planning, information architecture, wireframing & prototyping, pre-testing, handoff, and post-testing. Accessibility aspects like color blindness, settings, and subtitles will be discussed, as well as design briefs. Frequently asked questions

Course cost and payment plan?

The class fee is $898 for the 14-week duration. We do provide the option for a payment plan, which can be requested on a case-by-case basis. Simply send an email to Stephan, and we can discuss this further and make suitable arrangements

When does the course run?

Over the 14-weeks, you will attend 1 live session per week. These sessions start at 9am and finish at 12pm PST. For the Spring enrollment the classes will occur on the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th of May, the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th of June, the 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th of July, and finishing up on the 3rd of August.

Do you teach beginners?

Certainly! While it is not a requirement, having a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator would be highly advantageous in this course.

How do I get feedback on my work?

At the start of each class, you will have the opportunity to spend the first hour sharing your homework and providing constructive feedback to your fellow classmates. Collaboration is highly encouraged among peers.

Are the classes recorded?

Certainly! Stephan will provide a URL of the recorded class on the following day. If you happen to miss a class, you will miss out on valuable feedback from your peers. However, don't worry, you can always showcase your progress during the next session.

After the class can I still get support?

Yes. Once enrolled, you will be granted access to the Discord channel where a growing community of former students have access and have shared their feedback as well.

Which software is required for this class?

Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects. These software are not included in this course. It will be up to the students to get a license to use these programs.

Do you offer refunds on classes?

No, if you are unable to attend the class after making a payment, you can choose to defer your enrollment to the following semester if you are still interested in participating.
